A Different Kind of Real Estate Company

REI Realty, LLC is a Little Rock-based real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and owner-financed disposition of single-family residential properties. Founded in 2023 by Erik Bailey and Matthew Lamb, the company currently holds a portfolio of 235 homes stretching from Jacksonville to Benton, Arkansas.

Our focus is straightforward: acquire well-located residential properties throughout Central Arkansas and create pathways to homeownership through seller-financed transactions. We manage our own note portfolio in-house — collections, payoffs, and defaults — while staying active buyers in the market every month.

Between the two founders, Bailey and Lamb bring more than two decades of combined Arkansas real estate experience — from building and selling one of the state's first tech-forward residential brokerages, to institutional acquisitions work at publicly traded REITs and national commercial development firms.

How We Operate

We buy homes, sell homes on owner-financed terms, and manage the resulting loan portfolio — all in-house, all in Central Arkansas.

Property Acquisitions

We are consistent, active buyers of single-family residential properties throughout Central Arkansas. Our acquisitions focus is the core driver of the business — buying creates inventory, inventory drives sales.

Owner-Financed Sales

We sell homes directly to buyers using seller financing — no traditional lender required. Buyers make a down payment and monthly installments directly to us, creating accessible homeownership and predictable income for our portfolio.

Note Servicing

We manage our own loan portfolio in-house. Collections, payment processing, payoff calculations, and default resolution are handled directly by our team — no third-party servicer.

Portfolio Management

With 235 homes and an active acquisition pipeline, portfolio oversight is a daily operation. We track performance at the asset level, manage note status, and optimize the portfolio for long-term yield.

The Founders

Two Arkansas real estate operators who have built, scaled, and sold companies together — and came back to do it again.

Erik Bailey, Co-Founder of REI Realty

Erik Bailey

Co-Founder & Principal

Erik co-founded iRealty Arkansas in 2013 — one of the state's first technology-forward residential brokerages — growing it to more than 1,000 closings and $150M+ in sales volume before its successful sale in 2016. Following the exit, he joined BSR REIT, a publicly traded multifamily owner-operator with a portfolio exceeding $870M, in acquisitions and dispositions. He subsequently served at Blue Whale Development, a national commercial real estate development firm, sourcing and acquiring sites for credit tenants including Starbucks, Circle K, and Zips Car Wash. He co-founded REI Realty in 2023.

Matthew Lamb, Co-Founder of REI Realty

Matthew Lamb

Co-Founder & Principal

Matthew co-founded iRealty Arkansas alongside Erik in 2013, serving as managing partner with a focus on digital marketing and operational growth. After the sale, he pivoted fully to residential real estate investing — building and operating a substantial single-family portfolio across Central Arkansas while sourcing acquisitions on behalf of institutional single-family buyers. He co-founded REI Realty in 2023, where his operational focus centers on acquisitions strategy and portfolio growth.
